Who are Mini Foxie Breeders Australia?

We are individual experienced registered breeders combining over 46 years between us, of careful, qualified, and ethical breeding of the Australian Mini Foxie. 

We all joined Master Dog Breeders and Associates (MDBA) in 2026 as they are an Internationally recognised organisation who provide us with the most amazing support, transparency, ethical breeding standards and integrity.  mdba.net.au

They are so wonderful to work with and we are excited about the future of our breeding programmes. 

All of our dogs have pedigreed papers with the MDBA confirming generations of lineage.

Our puppies will all have pedigreed and registered papers to support their breeding and health standards.

Buyer beware! Learning the difference between a Registered Breeder and a Breeder Identification Number (BIN)

A Registered Breeder belongs to a recognized governing body, like the Master Dog Breeders & Associates. A registered breeder guarantees strict ethical, health, and pedigree standards.

A Breeder Identification Number (BIN) is just a mandatory legal requirement from local councils for anyone breeding a litter of puppies. Having a BIN DOES NOT mean you a registered breeder.

Why do purebred registered puppies cost a little more?

You pay more for a puppy from a registered, ethical breeder because you are covering the significant expenses required to ensure excellent health, temperament, and ethical standards. 

These breeders prioritize the welfare of the animals over profit, and their fees directly reflect their massive upfront costs. The higher price tag covers several specific, non-negotiable costs:

Extensive Health Screening: Registered breeders invest in thorough genetic DNA profiles, hip and elbow scores, and eye and cardiac screenings to ensure the breeding pair is free from inherited, breed-specific diseases.

Vet Bills and Care: This includes pre-mating checks, ultrasounds, premium diets for the mother, and routine care (vaccinations, microchipping, worming) for the puppies. It also covers emergency care, like an emergency C-section, which can easily cost thousands.

Pedigree and Registration: Registering litters with recognized bodies (such as the Australian National Kennel Council or the Responsible Pet Breeders Association) guarantees the puppy's lineage, pureness, and adherence to breed standards.

Ethical Upbringing and Socialization: Ethical breeders spend countless hours actively socializing, stimulating, and toilet-training puppies, as well as maintaining clean, comfortable whelping environments.

You may save $500 on buying a non-registered puppy, but end up spending those $$ in vet bills.
